Scripture Sunday Alma 42:25
This passage might sound severe, but that's only because we live in a very thin skinned and fragile world. I get the feeling that many generations ago, the thought of God being just was comforting. It is to me. Sure, while I'm a sinner just like everyone else this verse reminds me that justice in the end, will of course be applied fairly. Talking about how unjust the world is today isn't being able to see the entire picture. The philosopher Peter Kreeft said "Complaining about justice being delayed in the world today is like reading half of a novel than complaining that the author didn't resolve the plot." I love that quote, and I love this passage.
