Scripture Sunday Helaman 5:9

Few things are more offensive in this culture than declaring that your religion is the sole pathway to salvation. It's offensive to some people. Not to me. It doesn't make sense to be offended by someone elses religion if you are secure in your own. Of course to religious people, eternal salvation is an important thing. In some cases, few of us would be religious if it wasn't for the promise of eternal salvation.

King Benjamin here states that there is no other way to salvation then through Christ, who is the redeemer of the world. For Christians this is obvious and comforting. As mentioned, few of us would be Christians if it wasn't for the promise and hope of eternal salvation. Of course this passage makes us think of Acts 4:12-it's basically saying the same thing.
