Omni might be the shortest chapter in the Book of Mormon. This passage is short as well, but it's powerful in it's message. We don't think of the judgement of God very much in 2019, and when we do think of it, it's often serious and severe. We think of a God bringing forth the four horsemen and cleansing the world of evil.
But there is a flip side. While He will cleanse the world of evil on His judgment day, He will also do what this passage says which is "spare the righteous that they should not perish but will deliver them out of the hands of their enemies." It's a comforting to thought that evil will be punished and that the righteous will be saved, and it's up to us to choose what side we will be on.
