E-cigarette ban?

For a nation that seems to be moving closer and closer to widespread marijuana legalization, banning e-cigarettes makes no sense whatsoever.  Yes, I'm in favor of weed being legal but I'm also in favor of cigarettes of all types being legal. We should have this amazing ability to make our own choices on matters of personal health, if it be marijuana, cocaine, or God forbid cigarettes. Traditional or e-cigarettes included.

You'll never see a full ban on traditional cigarettes strictly because the tax revenue that they produce. A "sin tax" is supposed to deter people from engaging in dangerous behavior, but it doesn't. It's just another revenue stream for the state. I'm not sure if E-cigarettes are taxed outside of a regular sales tax, but I'd rather see that happen to them than an outright ban.

Like it or not, e-cigarettes helped a lot of us quit smoking, myself included. They might not be healthy but they are much less dangerous than real cigarettes. Banning them really shows how powerful the nanny state is.
