"No one cares about the Kardashians"

Have you heard that phrase before? I have. Several times. I'm not going to spoil it for you, but that statement is a total lie. Obviously, many people care about the Kardashians or else the family would be ignored. They are not ignored. Like it or not, this family sells magazine covers and gets good tv ratings. Until they don't, they'll be marketed and broadcast all over the place. The only thing you can do is ignore them. Don't buy the magazines. Don't click on stories about them. Don't watch their show.

But don't say "No one cares about the Kardashians." YOU may not care about them, and that's fine. You don't have to pay attention to them. Here is a little shock though: I'm sure that you have hobbies and interests that other people don't care about. Saying that "no one cares about X" shows how narrow minded and borderline selfish a person thinks. The world is a very diverse place and often times does not care about your personal interests.

By the way, I don't like the Kardashians either. Never paid attention to them.
