Paul Ryan

Remember Paul Ryan? He was the 2012 republican vice presidential pick. He is currently the speaker of the house after a whole bunch of political drama. He also kicked the ass of an annoying little pest who tired to unseat him in the primary. 

The right wing of the republican party is a delusional group of people. They seem to never be satisfied and they simply don't understand how politics works. You will never agree with someone all the time. Not your priest, minister, bishop or political heroes. Just because you disagree with them does not mean they or you are incorrect- it simply means that :: gasp :: you are both humans. 

Paul Ryan (Like his predecessor, John Boehner) has a conservative voting record but because the far right views him as "establishment" he has no chance of satisfying them. Even Ronald Reagan right now (a political hero of mine) would be considered moderate or establishment because he doesn't swallow all the conservative dogma. After all, he was divorced and even singed a very liberal abortion bill into law when he was governor of California. 

It's incredibly damaging to the GOP that the right has gone off it's meds and become insane. Constant upheaval in politics will help the other side because it'll turn off moderates and people otherwise open to voting for moderate republicans. For idealogical purists though, anyone who dares to think for themselves is finished.
