1) You aren't going to storm Area 51
2) You don't want to.
I'm actually a fan of social media activism because I think if properly used, it can change the world. Google "Arab spring social media" if you think I'm wrong. Regardless of how you feel about the cause, social media can unite people who agree on issues and bring them together. Hopefully those people will form relationships and bonds, then they can go out and engage in whatever form of protest they want to. I've actually done it as well. Both down here battling a new highway (A battle we "won") and up north battling the local police getting military equipment (a battle we lost).
But this storming Area 51 social media trend is a terrible idea. The military won't allow you to come knocking on their door and no matter how big your group is, up against the military you will lose. That's why I think Johnny Boy and his militia won't do a damn thing if the government ever turns on the people. It's the same thing here. In the rare, rare case the military opens fire on these idiots there will be mass causalities and yes, the civilians will lose. You don't want to be a part of that.
