John McCain, the senator from Arizona and the presidential candidate back in 2008 is in the final stages of his life. Apparently, someone in the White House made a stupid comment about his health, insinuating that his opinions don't matter because he won't be with us much longer. Republican, Democrat, independent, or agnostic about politics one thing is certain. If you take glee over the death of someone you disagree with, you've got serious problems and your opinion on everything else should be marginalized.
Is McCain my favorite politician? No, of course not. Him and I disagree on many issues. I do admire his war service and his ability to think for himself. I hope his final days are peaceful and pain free.
