Title of Show-Original Broadway Cast
This musical is delightfully quirky. While many of us think of Broadway musicals as lavish and over the top, Title of Show has only "four chairs and a keyboard." It's a minimalist approach to musicals with a strong sense of humor as well. It's also surprisingly touching-you will find yourself choking up during several of the songs. I'm not sure if Title of Show ever made it to Broadway-it's not really the style of a Broadway show, but it never got the attention it deserves.
One of the songs in Title of Show is called "Original Musical". The show is loaded with references to itself, and one can truly say it's the most "original musical" out there.
