Ozzy Osbourne-Blizzard of Ozz
This is the best solo album from a former lead singer who decided to go solo. Ozzy Osbourne is like Lemmy from Motorhead-though not as badass or dedicated to metal. I can't imagine Lemmy having a reality show like Ozzy did. That's not to say Ozzy isn't amazing. It's more like in a battle between the two rock Gods-Lemmy is 1, Ozzy is 1A.
The best song on the album is also the most controversial-"Suicide Solution". Sadly, a young man killed himself after listening to this song over and over again. Suicide is a horrific tragedy and I feel so sorry for the family and for the kid of course. The first amendment and artistic expression triumph over the suicide of one person. Politics aside, it's a great song. So are "Crazy Train", "Mr. Crowley" and "Steal Away the Night".
