The Pounce Generation might claim another victim. An online petition is going viral demanding that a teacher be fired for what she wrong on a 2nd grade math test. At first, what she wrote sounds a little snotty. That's it. Snotty. Hardly a "you are going to lose your job" type offense. For all we know the child was playing around and ignored their test, instead focusing on distractions.
I am increasingly disturbed by how stories go viral without us knowing all the details, and what is worse is that there is nothing we can do about it. As much as I love technology and look forward to the future with hope, this is a serious and frightening drawback to the world we live in today.
