Subtle evil is the most successful evil. Like the famous quote says-the devil doesn't show up with wild horns, breathing fire with a pitchfork. It'll show up like the devil did in the Passion of the Christ. Calmly enticing you to do evil. Amalickiah, at least in this passage, strikes me as the perfect Iago-creating untold evil by casuistry and manipulation.
