Scripture Sunday Moroni 6:3

One of the foundations of all Christian churches is baptism, and while I've talked about it several times it's always an interesting topic to me. In order to be properly saved, virtually all Christian churches think you need to have some form of baptism. While some churches practice infant baptism, I'm not sure that a newborn baby can make the determination to serve Christ into the end.

For the LDS church, we believe that Baptism is many things, but like this passage says it's also taking the name of Christ upon yourself and having a desire to do your best to be a witness until the end of time of His mercy and grace. That's one reason I support adult baptism, even though little kids in the LDS church do get baptized. You need to be able to be make the choice freely and by your own volition.
