Reverend Billy Graham was one of the greatest Christians American has ever had. The gates of heaven open up for many of us, but Reverend Graham has one of the very few express passes. Virtually no one has brought more souls to Christ than Reverend Graham. He is no televangelist who sought out fame and money while screwing hookers in cheap motels. Reverend Graham was purely authentic-he practiced what he preached.
Reverend Graham walked with Martin Luther King Junior and spoke out against discrimination. He was very active in the civil rights movement. Yet he was not political. He was good friends with Lyndon Johnson (a democrat) and George HW Bush (A republican).
When someone dies we often say "there will never be another one like him." In this case, it is true. America lost greatly today, but Heaven gained an angel.
