Richard Bushman and the Book of Mormon

Whenever anti LDS people attack our faith, they say wrongly accuse of "not being intellects" or using "sloppy sources". They are wrong, of course. 

This is Richard Bushman, a PhD and, yes-a well respected historian both inside and outside the church.You really do owe it to him to listen to this. The Book of Mormon, in his view, is a "psuedo-biographic narrative that hasn't been included in the biblical canon." He also compares the Book of Mormon to "vines growing on a Biblical tree". He is right, of course. 

It's in-depth and complicated, but without question worth a view. Several of them, really.
