Most concept albums aren't good. Even from good bands like Kiss and The Who, their concept albums...well, they aren't very good.
The Wall is different. Instead of the mindless conformity that professional education seems to breed, the guys from Floyd saw right though it and decided to create a good concept album. Not only is the album good, it's interesting. It's also musically complex, though I freely admit I'm hardly an expert on that subject.
Good concept album. Would like to see a good musical over it.
Happy Black Friday. Enjoy the consumerism, and I mean that seriously. Go out and buy things for people, enjoy life and don't complain about materialism. We like giving and receiving.
