Eddie and the Hot Rods-Teenage Depression
This is a great album, but the sound is very distinct and it's not going to be for everyone. Upfront-you will probably want to listen to the songs on Youtube before you spend money to download it. I recently found out about them after stumbling on the title track "Teenage Depression" on my beloved XM radio during a road trip. The song is unique-to me it has the snarl of Johnny Cash in "Cocaine Blues" and the lyrics of teenage angst from the Green Day album "Dookie".
These guys never made it big, especially in the states. It's a shame because they had a lot of potential.
